World's Largest Smoothie to benefit Feeding Tampa Bay! Help move supplies!
Six (6) volunteers are needed to serve as “product runners” who would wheel Smoothie ingredients (Yogurt, Strawberries and Whey) by hand trucks from a refrigerated truck located about 75-feet from our event tent. Teams of two runners each would take two-hour shifts wheeling the product from the truck to the tent area. The flow to and from the truck to the tent area would be steady but not necessarily constant. Because the product is refrigerated, runners would bring a supply of product to the tent where it would be used as the product is blended into a massive Smoothie and would be replenished on an as-needed basis as the blending team needs more product. Ideal volunteer candidates (male or female) should be in good physical condition and able to lift and/or move containers of Yogurt and Strawberries weighing approximately 28 pounds each to and from the truck using a hand truck over a distance of approximately 75 feet. Given the event locale, heat could be an issue so volunteers need to be in good physical condition.
