Picnic in the Park [HIL]
Join us on March 5th for our 13th Annual Picnic in the Park. This FREE, fun, family friendly event runs 10am - 3pm. We will have Victorian table and field games, live entertainment throughout the park, free ice cream (courtesy of Blue Bell), and more. Community partners who will be in the park include: Big Cat Rescue, Paper Seahorse, Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Picnic in the Park is accessible to all and brings people of all backgrounds together in one of the most historic parks in downtown Tampa and to Tampa's oldest Museum. The day encourages fun and relaxation and supports local musicians and performs. Volunteers are needed in several different capacities: welcoming visitors and directing them to activities, assisting with games and activities for families, children, and seniors, directing visitors throughout the park and museum.
