HOLIDAY FOOD DISTRIBUTION
This holiday season, the United Way Suncoast is proud to partner with Metropolitan Ministries to bring the joy and hope of the holidays into each one of the communities we serve. Through this partnership, families will be served for each holiday, all without having to leave their own neighborhood.
Traditionally, the Metropolitan Ministries holiday tent is in downtown Tampa, and provides a Thanksgiving and December Holiday Celebration Meal as well as a toy or gift card for each child in the home. However, the traditional location presents logistical challenges to many of the families we serve.
Each site will have both drive-through and walk up services available for the families to pick up their goods during their reserved time frame. Volunteers are needed to help provide these services at the locations, dates and times listed below. Click on a link below to register*:
- Central St. Pete (Campbell Park) - 701 16th Street S., St. Petersburg, FL, 33705

- Saturday, December 16
- Spanish speaking shift: 9:30am-1:30pm
- Clearwater (North Greenwood) - 1310 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Clearwater, FL, 33755
- Thursday, November 16 - thank you to everyone who volunteered!
- Tuesday, December 19
- Spanish speaking shift: 2:30pm - 6:30pm
