Join the Festo by Volunteering for PestoFesto [HIL]
Our 26th Annual PestoFesto, end of season celebration and fundraiser, is just around the corner on April 28th. This year we'll have basil themed activities, a farm fresh salad and pesto pasta dinner as well as live music and a silent auction. The funds raised support our educational programming to teach the community where their food comes from and mission to serve as a model of sustainability in agriculture.
With all these activities, we'll need dedicated volunteers to make our annual end of season celebration and fundraiser a success.
As a volunteer you can help in a variety of areas such as set-up, activities, food prep, ticket taking, pouring drinks, serving food, break down and more. We need volunteers for food prep both the night before PestoFesto on April 27th and the day of the event on April 28th.
As a perk, volunteers may also attend the festivities before or after their shift for FREE.
We have a few different short shifts that people can sign up for, and each one is a different task. April 27th: 6-9pm (pasta prep). April 28th: 9:30-11:30am (station set-up) 3-6pm (pasta prep) 6-8pm (serving food) 8-10:30pm (breaking down/cleaning up).
