United Way Suncoast Day of Action [HIL]

On and around June 21, tens of thousands of people across the globe volunteer with United Way to fight for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. United Way Day of Action is an opportunity for volunteers who seek to change lives and communities to be part of the solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives. This year, United Way Suncoast's Day of Action will revolve around disaster preparedness. This opportunity will consist of volunteers assembling 1000 disaster kits that will include the following items: Flashlight Batteries First Aid Kit Multi-purpose Tool Can Opener Hand Sanitzer Anti-bacterial Wipes Cooler Tote to store the items These kits will be given to low-income members of the community who may not be able to afford to prepare their own kit. Join us in making a stronger community for this year's Day of Action! *To register for the project, individuals need to register for a HandsOn Suncoast volunteer account.
