Quantum Leap Farm [Hil]
The Farm is a nationally recognized equestrian program serving injured and disabled civilian adults and children, as well as military service members and their families. Every horseman knows the relationship with a horse is special. But for those who are recovering from injury or who live with mental or physical disability, this relationship can open the door to new realms of possibility. By volunteering at Quantum Leap Farm, you can give back to your community, have fun and make new friends. Help riders as a side walker and with grooming and tacking of horses, light gardening and barn maintenance. As well as wearing closed toe shoes you might also want to bring along some work gloves. Before signing up for this project by clicking on “Sign up for this project”, any volunteer under the age of 18 will also need to print out a minor release form for this project. The volunteer’s parent or guardian must sign it. Bring the completed form with you to the project.
