Regency Centers at MOW Tampa Day of Caring 2019
Deliver a hot meal and friendly smile to Tampa's homebound seniors and neighbors.
- Time: 10am-noon
- Location: Meet at 550 West Hillsborough Ave, Tampa 33603, then deliver a route close by.
- Activities: We will quickly go through an orientation and how to read the route sheet that includes turn by turn directions, recipients’ names, addresses, phone numbers and special instructions. Then we will load up your car with a hot bag and cooler and off you go. Routes take about an hour and a half to complete.
- Notes: Volunteers will be getting in and out of the car and walking a little, so please dress comfortably.
We do require all volunteer drivers to complete a volunteer application prior to arriving.
We can accomodate individual volunteers and groups up to 25.
Our mission is to nourish, enrich and strengthen the independent lives of the seniors and homebound in our community. Dedicated volunteer drivers deliver hot, nutritious meals, made fresh by our kitchen, to recipients, midday, five days a week. Today, we deliver over 800 meals each day and volunteer drivers are our biggest need.
