Pasos al Futuro College Information Night [HIL]
Pasos al Futuro College Information Nights are for Hispanic families. Bilingual LEAP volunteers man a table and answer questions about the wealth of information on the LEAP website LEAP Tampa Bay website about the college application process and about seeking financial aid. Volunteers focus on helping families understand the FAFSA application and the importance of completing it to access financial aid for education beyond high school. When possible, volunteers stop by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay offices to pick up a LEAP tablecloth and banner and LEAP and FAFSA materials. Otherwise, LEAP staff will drop materials off with one of the volunteers or at the event and meet one of the volunteers later for picking up the materials. The event takes place from 6-8 but please arrive a few minutes early to set up. Eveleen Garcia will be your contact at the event.
