Equine Therapy Sidewalkers & Horse Leaders [PIN]
Volunteers are required to fill out registration paperwork and complete a background check along with orientation before volunteering. Required to volunteer weekly for all 13 weeks of the session. Contact Melissa Yarborough at inspireequinetherapy@gmail.com for background check information.
Inspire Equine Therapy Program serves teens and adults with disabilities thru adaptive riding and driving lessons. Volunteers will be assisting as sidewalkers during classes and if they have horse experience they could be trained as horse leaders for lessons. Must be able to walk and some jogging in sand for 30 minutes. Lessons occur on Fridays from 11:30 to 2 pm. and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
