POW! Produce on Wheels [HIL]

Saturday Produce on Wheels (POW!): On the 3rd Saturday of most months, Meals On Wheels of Tampa delivers fresh produce to senior and homebound reighbors.

Pre-registered and approved volunteers arrive at the Meals On Wheels office located at 550 West Hillsborough Ave, Tampa 33603 between 9:30 and 10:30am.

A delivery route contains 8-14 stops all within a few miles of each other. Turn by turn directions, addresses and phone numbers of recipients are provided. Completing a route takes about an hour to an hour and half.

All volunteer drivers must complete a volunteer application (https://mowtampa.volunteerhub.com/) and attend a short orientation. Volunteer drivers must be 18 years old and do use their own vehicle and gas.

Families are encouraged to volunteer together.
