2019 VITA Sulphur Springs Year-Round Greeter (HIL)
Greeter/Screener – Must complete the Volunteer Standards of Conduct Exam, the Intake/Interview & Quality Review Exam and watch the Greeter/Screener Training Video. Tax law certification is not required for this position. Greet everyone visiting the site to create a pleasant atmosphere. You screen taxpayers to determine the type of assistance they need and confirm they have the necessary documents to complete their tax returns. Educate clients with various tax savings options and encourage clients to complete the United Way Suncoast Survey. If you are bilingual, please consider a VITA site that needs bilingual greeters. Dress Code: Business Casual. VITA T-shirts will be provided and should be worn while volunteering at a VITA site. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your shift. If you must cancel your shift, please contact the site coordinator immediately.
