Blake High School FAFSA Completion Event [HIL]
Help students and parents get FREE MONEY for education by assisting with FAFSA Completion in local High Schools. Our goal is to have 60% of working age adults (25-64) in our community hold a degree or certificate by 2025. To reach that goal, we need your help!
Adult volunteers assist students and their families in completing FAFSA forms. FAFSA Completion Workshops are held in Tampa Bay high schools to ensure students have the assistance and information available for form completion.
Volunteers for this event must have viewed the online training video. Begin the application process for school district volunteers but the background check is not required.
If this is an evening event, check in with the counselor at the event. This event takes place in the Media Center.
Please proceed to the Media Center where the event is being held. Romie Heidt is the contact person for the event so please check in with her when you arrive to the room. Before you leave please take a photograph of the volunteers and counselors (try to get yourself in there as well) and a photo of the event -- no student faces or close-ups of computer screens.
