East Bay High School FAFSA Completion Event (During College & Career Fair) [HIL]
Help students and parents get FREE MONEY for education by assisting with FAFSA Completion in local High Schools. Our goal is to have 60% of working age adults (25-64) in our community hold a degree or certificate by 2025. To reach that goal, we need your help!
Adult volunteers assist students and their families in completing FAFSA forms. FAFSA Completion Workshops are held in Tampa Bay high schools to ensure students have the assistance and information available for form completion.
Volunteers for this event must have viewed the online training video, started the online application for volunteering in Pinellas and/or Hillsborough Counties (final approval is not required for this day-time event.) Park in fron of the school. Valid state I. D. is required to enter the high school. Check in at the front office and get your name tag and an assistant will take you to the event.
Mia Felix is the College and Career Counselor. The event will be in the Media Center.
Before you leave please take a photograph of the volunteers and counselors (try to get yourself in there as well) and a photo of the event -- no student faces or close-ups of computer screens.
