2020 VITA United Way Suncoast Sarasota Greeter (SRQ)
Must complete the Volunteer Standards of Conduct Exam, the Intake/Interview & Quality Review Exam and attend the Greeter/Screener Webinar. Greet everyone visiting the site to create a pleasant atmosphere. Must screen taxpayers to determine the type of assistance they need and confirm they have the necessary documents to complete their tax returns. Educate clients with various tax savings options and encourage clients to complete the United Way Suncoast Survey. Dress Code: Business Casual. VITA t-shirts will be provided and should be worn while volunteering at a VITA site. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your shift. If you must cancel your shift. If you need to cancel your shift, you must cancel no later than 48 hours prior.
