Virtual Tutoring for K-12 Math, English, Science, or Social Studies
We are in search of volunteers that are current or retired Certified Teachers/Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals who will provide virtual 1 on 1 tutoring for underprivileged and underachieving K-12 students in either Math, English, Science, or Social Studies (depending upon volunteer's certification). These sessions will be pivotal as they will provide opportunities for students to address concerns they may be hesitant to address in a large classroom setting.
Volunteers should be able to schedule 2-3 one-hour long sessions per week in the specified subject area and may schedule their own availability. Sessions will be held using the platform Zoom. A background check is required.
