Meals on Wheels - Week of Caring 2021 [HIL]
Teens age 13-17 are required to attend with an adult and must have a copy of the minor consent form on file in order to register. Contact projects@uwsuncoast.org with questions.
Volunteers will be working together in a kitchen to put a variety of food cups, and many other things that will later be delivered to the homebound clients.
Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes, and pants (no shorts) to work in the kitchen. No tank tops are allowed.
PLEASE NOTE: this project relies on a full shift of volunteers to complete the assigned tasks. It is important that you remove yourself from the project if you can no longer attend so someone else has the chance to sign up.
MOW staff are wearing face masks and gloves and are fulfilling proper handwashing protocol; volunteers will follow the same guidelines. Masks are available if a volunteer does not have one and everyone will be placed 6-ft apart.
T-shirts will be provided on-site by United Way Suncoast. Volunteers will be asked for their t-shirt size when registering below.
