UWS 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance [HIL]
The 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance is a positive way to unite and pay tribute to the victims, survivors and first responders who served in response to the attacks on September 11, 2001. It is also a reminder of the importance of working together to help our community have the freedom to rise.
This year is the 20th Anniversary of that tragic day. Join United Way Suncoast and volunteers throughout our nation to thank our first responders and ensure our community members have access to emergency resources.
Volunteers will assemble emergency preparedness kits and hygiene kits that will be distributed to families in our community.
Registration:
- Teens age 13 and older are required to register through their own UWS volunteer account.
- Children age 8-12 can be registered through a parent or guardian (age 18+) volunteer account. The parent/guardian is responsible for supervising the child on-site.
UWS volunteers are required to follow the safety protocols provided on-site by project leaders (including face masks and social distancing) to follow CDC guidelines.
We look forward to seeing you!
