In honor of Veterans Day, United Way Suncoast is proud to partner with Veterans Memorial Park in gearing up for the county’s 57th annual Veterans Day Tribute.

Veterans Memorial Park honors military members of all branches and is especially dedicated to the fallen from Hillsborough County who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. We're open to the public 7 days a week, and a day in our outdoors is always special.

Volunteers will play a huge role in contributing to military pride by sprucing up park grounds and 14 war monuments honoring our nation’s heroes and a large influx of visitors. Enjoy a productive, open-air day of comraderie at Veterans Memorial Park.

United Way Suncoast volunteers are required to wear face masks when within 6-ft of others regardless of vaccination status and will follow the safety protocols provided on-site. 

Registration will close at 12pm on Monday, November 8th.
 

On Thursday, November 11, the community is invited to meet Veterans of all eras at the annual Veterans Day ceremony featuring guest speakers, high school JROTC drill demonstrations, refreshments, and patriotic music to include the theme songs from military service branches.
Visitors to the park will also enjoy the annual Flags For Heroes display: a 3-day massing of 200+ flags honoring military, first responders, and public servants from all professions.
