VITA 2023 Site Coordinator Orientation
The UWS and IRS orientation is an opportunity for Site Coordinators to learn what to expect when volunteering at a VITA site. Our IRS SPEC will share updates to tax law and cover the most common questions that taxpayers have when they visit a site.
VITA program managers will share information about how to manager volunteers that sign up for their site, safety guidelines, and where to find support when you have questions.
Schedule:
- Friday, January 13th: led by Margie Sorah (in-person, Hillsborough County)
- Saturday, January 14th: led by Margie Sorah (virtual)
- Wednesday, January 18th: led by Nichole Pena (in-person, Manatee County)
Orientation is required for all Site Coordinators for the VITA program.
