VITA 2023 Tax Preparer Orientation

Orientation is required for all volunteers who prepare taxes with the VITA program.
The UWS and IRS orientation is an opportunity for tax preparers to learn what to expect when volunteering at a VITA site. Our IRS SPEC will share updates to tax law and cover the most common questions that taxpayers have when they visit a site.
VITA program managers will share information about how to sign up for volunteer opportunities, safety guidelines, and where to find support when you have questions.
Schedule:

  • 11/21 - Pinellas
  • 12/6 - Hillsborough
  • 12/13 - DeSoto
  • 1/6 - Manatee/Sarasota

Registration will close 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
