Feeding Tampa Bay: Veterans Week of Service 2024 [HIL]
Twenty-percent of households that are supported by Feeding America have a veteran or someone that has served in the military. Feeding Tampa Bay is leading the movement to end hunger, rallying our community together to create a healthier, more capable Tampa Bay and beyond.
United Way Suncoast is excited to bring you this great volunteer opportunity with one of our strategic community partners, Feeding Tampa Bay.
Feeding Tampa Bay believes that every single person can do something to help end hunger in America. By giving their time, volunteers can make an enormous difference in the lives of hungry women, men and children served by their network.
Volunteers will sort donated food at their local food bank, which serves 10 counties in West Central Florida. All volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes.
The deadline to register for this volunteer opportunity is November 1, at 12pm.
