Kiwanis Horses for Handicapped of Pinellas County

We provide recreational and therapeutic horseback riding for the handicapped of Pinellas County. Each rider needs the assistance of at least 2 volunteers to support them during their ride. We have approximately 30 rides every Saturday morning during the school year. This program has been serving the community for 28 years. This project will allow volunteers age 12 - 14 to volunteer with an adult. You need to have the ability to walk at a brisk pace for at least 1 mile.
