Lincoln Memorial Academy Urban Ag & FFA is a community-based program that impacts students and their families through hands-on projects to grow and produce their own food, gain skills in natural resource conservation, and animal husbandry.

We immerse students in the natural world through a diverse urban farm program. Students grow their own fresh produce, herbs, strawberries, potatoes plus learn animal husbandry with chickens, rabbits, pigs. Students also engage in conservation projects to impact their world such as rainwater collection, composting, and worm farming. Our farm program also includes hydroponics and aquaculture!

Our community-based program allows students and their families to experience farm to fork agriculture concepts and small-space growing methods that they can continue in their homes.

Lincoln Urban Ag relies on community volunteers to make our diverse program sustainable and functioning for our students, whose average age is 11-13 and with over 80% from low income families.

The National FFA® is a national youth organization of over 500,000 members with local chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The National FFA® strives to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
