United Way Suncoast Day of Caring Friday, October 11th, 2019 VOLUNTEERS COME TOGETHER AS ONE FOR DAY OF CARING. For the past 26 years, United Way Suncoast's Day of Caring has joined caring community members with community agencies, schools and other organizations that need them. Last year, 100+ projects were completed from over 50 teams and organizations across DeSoto, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pinellas and Sarasota Counties. These volunteers were able to add a value $286,952* back to the community. This year will bring you and your volunteer team work together with projects that most agencies could never undertake on their own. From weeding and planting at a neighborhood school, to scrubbing and painting the walls at a daycare or conducting mock interviews for low-income job seekers to resume building; whatever you and your team chooses, you can be the architects that help us build a better Suncoast Region.
