MLK JR. WEEK OF SERVICE

Thank you for joining United Way Suncoast in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy during our MLK Jr. Week of Service. Each January, we come together to transform Dr. King’s call to action into meaningful impact—this year marked the 29th anniversary of this national volunteer movement, your service truly made his message come alive.

As Dr. King proclaimed in his Nobel Peace Prize speech, "I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, and dignity, equality and freedom for their spirits." United Way Suncoast's MLK Jr. Week of Service volunteer projects follow Dr. King's wisdom, focusing on food insecurity and education needs in our community. Because of volunteers like you, more of our neighbors have the freedom to rise.
