Verizon & UWS: Disaster Preparedness Kit Assembly [MAN]
United Way Suncoast provides leadership that improves lives and creates lasting community change by mobilizing the caring people of our communities to give, advocate and volunteer. In times of crisis or disaster, this mission is even more critical.
As the 2025 hurricane season gets underway, United Way Suncoast has received a grant from Verizon to strengthen local disaster recovery and preparedness efforts. Through this grant, we have this fantastic opportunity for volunteers to come together and create Disaster Preparedness Kits that will be distributed to community members.
These starter kits will include a variety of items that will help families be prepared during times of disaster.
