Sugg Urban Garden [MAN]
United Way Suncoast is thrilled to partner with Sugg Middle School to offer a hands-on volunteer experience that’s as rewarding as it is impactful. Join us in nurturing the school’s vibrant Urban Agriculture and FFA Farm—a living classroom where students learn about healthy eating, sustainability, and the power of community.
Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just curious about gardening, everyone is welcome! Each month brings new opportunities to get involved, with tasks tailored to the garden’s seasonal needs.
Other Volunteer activities may include:
- Planting and harvesting fresh produce
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- Caring for farm animals
- Painting and beautifying garden spaces
- Repairing and building garden infrastructure
