Project Pride SQR at Sugg Urban Garden
United Way Suncoast is thrilled to partner with Project Pride SQR for a hands-on volunteer experience at one of our incredible partner schools—Sugg Middle School. Their vibrant Urban Agriculture and FFA Farm is more than just a garden—it's a living classroom where students explore healthy eating, sustainability, and the power of community.
Volunteer activities may include:
- Installing a new irrigation system
- Planting and harvesting fresh produce
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- Painting and beautifying garden spaces
What to bring:
- Water bottle
- Wear closed toed shoes
- Hat and sun protection- this is an outdoor event!
Registration for this event will close at 12pm on October 7.
