VITA 2026 Greeter Orientation: Virtual Dec 13

Orientation is required for all volunteers who prepare taxes with the VITA.
This virtual webinar is designed specifically for volunteers serving in the Greeter/Screener role, a vital position that helps manage client flow and ensures smooth operations at VITA tax preparation sites.

This orientation provides a comprehensive overview of:

• Gain a clear understanding of your responsibilities
• Learn how to assist clients in preparing for their tax sessionAdvanced Exam
• Ensure proper documentation is collected
• Receive guidance on offering integrated support services
• Review standards of conduct, confidentiality, and ethical practices
• Develop skills in client interaction, cultural competency, and problem-solving
• Be updated on intake and quality review procedures

• Session Format: Virtual (Online)
• Saturday, December 13
• Time: 10am - 11:30am

• This training is intended for Greeters only.
• Do not register for multiple training series.
• A session link will be emailed a few days before the first session.
• Registration closes 24 hours prior to the start of the session.
• If the session is full, join the waitlist to be notified if a spot becomes available.
