VITA 2026 Goodwill Manasota North Sarasota: Tax Preparer [V26S]
Tax Preparers for the VITA program are responsible for the following tasks:
- Take direction from the Site Coordinator to serve clients in order of appointment.
- Review intake sheet and complete interview to ensure that return is within scope of the program and that the taxpayer has all required documents.
- Prepare tax returns with accuracy according to IRS guidelines using Publication 4012 for support.
- Mark tax returns ready for review and direct taxpayer to queue for quality review.
If you need to cancel your shift, you must cancel at least 48 hours (2 business days) before your scheduled time.
