Food Pantry Volunteer at WFFCS [HIL]

West Florida Foster Care Services (WFFCS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families involved in the foster care system. Through foster care, adoption support, and community‑based services, WFFCS works to ensure children are safe, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. As part of this mission, WFFCS operates a pantry to help meet the immediate needs of children and families it serves.

By serving as a pantry volunteer, you help ensure that foster children and families receive essential food and supplies with dignity and care.

Volunteer tasks may include:

  • Unload food and supply donations
  • Sort, organize, and stock pantry items
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe pantry environment
  • Support staff and other volunteers with pantry operations as needed
Registration:
  • Youth ages 13-15 are required to attend with an adult.
  • Teens 16-18 are able to volunteer without adult.

Parking: Entering from Busch Blvd, you will pass by the main church building, and park in the large parking lot to your left. You'll then head towards the courtyard/church sanctuary. At the front of the courtyard you will see a breezeway to your immediate right, and the food pantry will be the first door on the right.

Thank you for volunteering!
