Cortez Village Historical Society

The mission of the CVHS is to preserve the past and protect the future of this unique fishing village. The purpose of the CVHS is to study and document the history of Cortez, provide a cultural enter; educate the public on the living history of Cortez; advocate for the protection of the Cortez Historic District, fishing culture and the natural environment that supports Cortez resource-based way of life.
