To our community members and volunteers who showed up and made a difference during our 34th annual Week of Caring, THANK YOU! Week of Caring celebrates the impact of people who step up to address our community’s greatest challenges through volunteerism, generosity, and everyday action. We do this by connecting nonprofit partners with corporate, civic, and individual volunteers who are ready to serve in our 5-county footprint. Community needs relate to one of United Way Suncoast's focus areas: education, financial stability, and community resiliency. 

Thank you to all our volunteers and nonprofit partners who participated in Week of Caring this past April. Volunteers spent their time beautifying campuses, mentoring youth in after-school programs, assembling disaster kits, and sorting food donations that will reach neighbors across our community. 

In just 6 days:
26 nonprofit organizations were able to showcase their missions
37 volunteer projects came to life
259 volunteers showed up to make a difference in our region
