Book Bus Volunteers - Week of Caring 2021 [HIL]
Bess the Book bus is a Tampa based mobile literacy outreach dedicated to narrowing the achievement gap created by poverty. We build home libraries and a love for reading in our most underserved communities by making the joy of book ownership a reality for our children.
We will be delivering our book caboose trailer fully stocked for a self contained pre-K to 5 book fair at Seminole Heights Elementary. We are looking for 1-2 volunteers to help distribute books to the students.
Volunteers should check-in at the front office upon arrival.
Volunteer projects for Week of Caring will be following CDC guidelines regarding face masks and social distancing.
T-shirts will be provided on-site by United Way Suncoast. Volunteers will be asked for their t-shirt size when registering below.
