Bay Pines VA – Veterans Day 2022 [PIN]
As part of the United Way Suncoast Veterans Day of Service, we are proud to partner with Bay Pines VA Healthcare System to support their volunteer needs.
Bay Pines’ vision is to be a Veteran-centered, integrated health organization ensuring excellent health outcomes via care service, coordination, research, and education; an organization where people choose to work; an engaged community partner; and responsive to National emergencies.
On November 11th, Bay Pines will be hosting a Veterans Day ceremony at their facility. It will be attended by hundreds of veterans and will include guest speakers and VIPs. They are in need of volunteers to assist with transporting veterans in wheelchairs to the ceremony area from other buildings on the campus. Other needs are distributing water and/or agendas and assisting with the seating arrangements.
This event will be taking place outdoors; closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.
