DIY Letters of Appreciation for Teachers: Week of Caring 2023
United Way Suncoast provides leadership that improves lives and creates lasting community change by mobilizing the caring people of our communities to give, advocate, and volunteer.
Volunteers can write messages of appreciations for teachers in our region. These will be shared during Teacher Appreciation Week in early May.
How to create the cards:
- We only accept handwritten cards, nothing copied or typed.
- Be as creative as you like - you can use stationary or hand-made note cards.
- You can either write a few sentences of encouraging words, or draw pictures or images along with a short inspirational message.
- Please make sure the notes are presentable to be distributed.
- Individual envelopes are not required, but please do not seal them if they are used as they need to be screened before being distributed.
- For privacy reasons, please do not sign your last name.
Once complete, be sure to include your full name and company name (if applicable), then mail to:

Make sure to submit your hours through this form. Once the cards are received, time will be added to your volunteer account.
