Assemble Disaster Preparedness Starter Kits [MAN]

United Way Suncoast has been serving our community for nearly 100 years by addressing access to quality education, removing barriers to financial stability, and providing support in a crisis.

An emergency can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. Less than half of all Americans can’t afford a $1,000 emergency if it were to happen to them tomorrow. While not all disasters are directly financial, many disasters have a rather large financial implication, thus making them disastrous to the families who can’t afford them.

We invite volunteers to join us in assembling Disaster Preparedness Kits that will be distributed to community members served through United Way programs.

Registration:

  • Teens age 13 and up must register through their own volunteer account. Teens age 13-15 must also have a parent or guardian registered to attend as a volunteer.
  • Youth ages 8-12 can be registered through their parent or guardian's account.

Thank you for volunteering and making a difference in our community!
