ONGOING VOLUNTEERING
The below opportunities are great for individuals who are looking to volunteer on a regular basis for a particular program.
- Campbell Park Resource Center (St. Petersburg)
- Greeter: in this role, volunteers will welcome the visitors to the center and direct them to the correct offices. Learn more.
- Campbell Park Network for Early Learning: assist the Learn & Play Sessions that are designed to support parents/caregivers to play and interact with children in developmentally appropriate ways to encourage brain development and assist school readiness. View more about this program.
- Financial Coaching (Virtual)
- Community Members who are in a position to make changes and improve their financial wellness are paired with dedicated volunteer coaches. Together, they develop a plan of action that will help the member achieve their financial goals. Learn more.
- VITA: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
- The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program connects low-to-moderate income residents in the Suncoast Region with trained volunteer tax preparers who file their tax returns for free.
DATE & TIME SPECIFIC VOLUNTEERING
Below are opportunities to volunteer based on the specific days and times that the shift takes place.
- Campbell Park Food Pantry (St. Petersburg): Register for a shift
- Shifts are available Mondays from 5pm-7pm, Tuesdays from 10am-12pm, or Thursdays from 3pm-5pm.
- Feeding Tampa Bay Warehouse (Tampa): Saturday mornings
- Meals on Wheels (Tampa): Saturday mornings
- Ronald McDonald House (St. Petersburg): select Monday afternoons
- Ronald McDonald House (Tampa): select Tuesday afternoons
- Teaching Tools (Tampa): Saturday mornings
