All Faiths Food Bank - Sarasota & DeSoto
Together with our partners, we provide healthy solutions to end hunger in our community. We have two main types of volunteer activities to get involved:
Sarasota Warehouse:
Food Boxing - packing canned goods/non-perishibles for distribution at mobile pantries
Backpacks - packing bags of healthy snacks for children.
The warehouse is open Monday-Wednesday 8:30-11:30am or 1-3:30pm. Light-moderate lifting and bending should be expected. Children must be at least 12 to participate.
Mobile Pantries/Farm Markets:
Volunteers will help distribute meat, fresh produce, and other grocery items to members of our community in a safe and effecient drive-thru setting. These take place at a variety of locations, dates, and times throughout the week. Masks and closed toed shoes are required. Light-moderate lifting and bending should be expected. Activities take place outdoors. Children must be at least 14 to participate.
