Toll Brothers at All Faiths Food Bank: MLK Day of Service 2023

We are excited to share this great opportunity as part of the UWS MLK Day of Service!

Together with their partners, All Faiths Food Bank provides health solutions to end hunger in our community. AFFB is the only food bank and largest hunger relief organization in Sarasota and DeSoto counties.

Volunteers are needed to pack boxes of canned goods/non-perishable food items for distribution at our Mobile Pantries.

  • Volunteers ages 13-15 are required to attend with a registered adult.
  • Closed toed shoes are mandatory.
  • A conveyer belt is used to complete this project and it does require standing and light-moderate lifting and bending.
  • Volunteers need to be able to be on their feet for the duration of the activity. We do have a volunteer breakroom that can be utilized for periodic resting if needed.
